Evangelisation
Evangelism is a core component of YWAM’s (Youth With A Mission) mission. YWAM’s ministries are broadly categorized into evangelism, mercy ministry, and training, with the goal of making God known. They actively engage in evangelism to share the message of Jesus Christ with people globally.
Training
YWAM offers training for evangelists, as well as all members of society. YWAM Mbabane’s mission include evangelism as one of their core focuses, and they provide various training programs aimed at equipping individuals to effectively share the Gospel. These programs range from introductory courses like the Discipleship Training School (DTS) to more advanced schools like the Discipleship Bible School. All training done in YWAM is accredited by the University of the Nations.
Mercy Ministries
YWAM Mbabane’s Mercy Ministries focus on demonstrating God’s love through practical acts of service to those in need, often in areas experiencing poverty, disease, or injustice. These ministries engage in relief and development work, including agricultural assistance, healthcare, and micro-enterprise development. They also work with vulnerable children, refugees, and those affected by crises.
Walking in the seven spheres
The vision and mission of YWAM Mbabane is to influence society in the seven spheres. The seven spheres of influence in YWAM are Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment, and Business. These spheres are seen as key areas where Christians can impact society and advance God’s kingdom. YWAM believes that by influencing these areas, they can help shape the future of nations and make God’s kingdom more of a reality.
Our staff
The 12 staff members on our base are compassionate, reliable, and adaptable individuals who are enthusiastic about their work and willing to learn. They possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with others and build positive relationships. Furthermore, they demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to the YWAM’s mission in eSwatini and beyond.
Buying the base!
We trust the Lord for sponsors to raise 5 million eMalangeni/Rand before the end of January 2026 in order to buy our base. This precious gem of 11 hectares is situated on the fringes of Mbabane City, and is ideally suited to minister to adjacent communities, but also to provide a excellent atmosphere for training and other ministries.
